“kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell.”

✨✨✨Blurb – ‘Everybody likes everything these days. The whole world is a nerd.’
‘Are you mad because other people like Star Wars? Are you mad because people like me like Star Wars?’

If you broke Elena’s heart, Star Wars would spill out. So when she decides to queue outside her local cinema to see the new movie, she’s expecting a celebration with crowds of people who love Han, Luke and Leia just as much as she does. What she’s not expecting is to be last in a line of only three people; to have to pee into a collectible Star Wars soda cup behind a dumpster or to meet that unlikely someone who just might truly understand the way she feels. Kindred Spirits is an engaging short story by Rainbow Rowell, author of the bestselling Eleanor & Park, Fangirl and Carry On, and is part of a handful of selected short reads specially produced for World Book Day.

✨✨✨My Favorite Quote –  “If you broke Elena’s heart, Star Wars would spill out. This was a holy day for her — it was a cosmic event. This was her planets lining up. (Tatooine, Coruscant, Hoth.)”

✨✨✨My Review – Kindred Spirits is a short story written by  Rainbow Rowell for the World Book Day.I adored the theme of fandom and being a fangirl myself , I automatically connected to Elena, Gabe and Troy. Their Love for Star Wars depicts how we can go through the hardship or support any thing that we love or are obsessed about. It emphasised on the topic of how common interest can connect people immediately.
I love how even through a short story @rainbowrowell could convey such an insightful message of Hope, Friendship, Achieving Goals and connecting with Kindred Spirits 💟💟💟.
. ✨✨✨I would Rate this Baby a Solid 4 out of 5. The only thing that I was hoping was the closure in the ending.
